We are KIDSEN, a Scandinavian Children’s Lifestyle Store, specialising in Nordic interiors, toys, clothes and shoes. We launched 5 years ago and have gone from strength to strength. A high end one-stop shop based in North West London, our store attracts both parents from the local community and customers from far afield. Our store is known for its friendly service and great product knowledge - and therefore great customer service is absolutely paramount to everything we do.

The role is sales orientated, involving developing relationships with customers in person, by phone and through our website. Our loyal customer base is crucial to us and your role is to provide exceptional service and product knowledge, offering the best possible shopping experience to all of our customers. You must be people focused and possess the ability to create and maintain an enticing store environment so a good visual eye and attention to detail is paramount

 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is sales orientated, involving developing relationships with customers in person, by phone and through our website. You must be people focused and possess the ability to create and maintain an enticing store environment so a good visual eye and attention to detail is paramount

 

- Exceptional sales skills with amazing interpersonal and customer service skills. We need you to be able to offer customers sound and genuine advice on all our goods.

 

- Strong organisational skills and willingness to set up and maintain systems for the smooth running of the store and website.

 

- Dealing with daily customer enquiries through all mediums - online, by phone and in-store - face to face.

 

- Taking orders over the phone, (and in-store), ensuring all orders are dispatched and customers are kept well informed about the status of their orders.

 

- Keeping track of stock with some day to day responsibility of re-stocking staple products.

 

- Great eye for store display, keeping goods looking interesting and neat on our shelves, shop floor and stock room.

 

- A great eye for design and style as job will require some buying responsibilities for each new season..

 

WHO YOU ARE
A customer service minded individual with strong sales skills with experience in the retail, restaurant or the hotel industry. You are a people loving person who truly enjoys talking to customers and demonstrating unique products. You are passionate about giving exceptional service with a high dose of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. You’re warm and approachable, a team player and an all round nice person. Bonus points if you know anything about children’s products, shoe fitting, Scandinavian design or language or have experience of working in an environment where you have to relate to kids.

 

You have good spoken and written English (this is a must). You must be computer literate, and creatively minded. You take pride both in your own appearance and your store environment.

 

WHEN TO START: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

 

WORKING HOURS: TUESDAY TO SATURDAYS 9:30-18:00

 

SALARY: UP TO 22K DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
