So we’re super excited to have just got our hands on a vintage 70’s Scandinavian High Chair. We have very fond memories of these from our childhood. The ingenious design flips on it’s head (see pics below) and transforms into a table for baby which also has wheels so it can be pushed as a walker too.
This classic Scandi design still stands the test of time as you’ll see from the more contemporary version below.

I had one of those, back in the 70′s in Denmark. It went from me to my sister to my next sister and finally, the last two sister. It’s still there. Indestructable.
I love the new design, though – and i remember how helful it was for my Mum to have a highchair that changed into a sort of walker/table: it was safe to leave the baby in there while you cooked etc, and there was space for her/him to draw/play/etc on the table.
A fab product.
interesting story about your high chair.
say hello from me to your two wonderful daughters
I remember a very similar story. We had a modern classic table with a variety of pictures around the edge of the table and everyone of us use to sit in particular spot around the table, mine was a picture of a plane, for some reason i felt in love with the picture, when i grow up i traveled the world for 20 years away from home. After returning home that table was still there with the picture of the plane.
Where Is the bottom picture from? Are those chairs available for purchase? My husband is danish and friends of ours have a vintage one, but i love the new version even more! Please let me know. Thanks!
